About Us

Introduction Of FGEIs

Federal Government Inter College Mangla Cantt is under the Administrative control of the Directorate of Federal Government Educational institution (Cantt/Garrison). Situated in the serene Mangla Valley, F.G College is flanked by Tehsil Dina to its right and Mirpur to its left. It ranks prominent among the colleges of FGEI(C/G) in general and those of the region in particular. It was originally established in 1974 in the premises of F.G Public School Baral Colony Mangla Cantt. As it became difficult to manage both the institution in the same building, the college was separated from the school in 1984 and subsequently shifted to its present building. The college earned a big name in short span of time and emerged as a privileged institution for the motivated and ambitious students. The college is imparting quality education at HSSC level in a manner that blends futuristic approach with the awareness of present requirements. As a result of that, a large number of our students have been able to join professional colleges on merit to become doctors and engineers. Many students of this college managed to secure a niche in the armed forces and civil

services of Pakistan.
